On this chilly, harvest morning I am grateful for seasonal flavors in my coffee. Yum! http://twitpic.com/35dgry
...for the guy who just drove by. He's decked our in camo including his face--me a giggling.
Right now I am feeling grateful for....The kindness, generosity, and support of my newfound Zumba friends as I take my "journey to the front of the class" (as an instructor). I am grateful for the support, understanding, and love of my husband and my son as I talk about nothing but Zumba lately :) I am grateful for the opportunity to BE grateful.
My awesome friends!!
I'm having one of those days where I'm grateful to have a house and nice things that my vibrant, healthy kids can destroy...and that bedtime is 5 hours away...hoping for a less
chaotic tomorrow. :)
I am grateful that I have amazing friends who don't judge. The fact that my kids still seek out my opinion and like to be around me amazes me daily. I'm also filled with gratitude that my husband - although not perfect - is perfect for me.
I am feeling greatful for the Pink Posse!! I have met so many wonderful people, had my writings posted with you and Sharni, am working with a Life Coach Amy *Mamamorphosis* and Kimberly Riggins *Eat Chocolate Naked Week* on how to be positive about my life and body. What you say is true, the more greatful you are, the more things come your way to be greatful for! I have received a title as Michigan Cleft Networks Transitional Consultant, helping teenagers transition into adulthood while dealing with their facial differences, whatever they may be. I am also a registered Pathfinder on behalf of both MiCleft and CleftAdvocate/Ameriface and can now help women with cleft-affected children/babies/babies on the way find referrals and support. I won a $50 gift certificate from MiCleft for participation & am part of the 21 Day Gratitude Challenge. All this since May when I joined Pink Posse. Without the people of the Pink Posse seeing my light, my beauty, my greatness, and without my own determination and hardwork, I wouldn't be here. So thank you to you and everyone from the Pink Posse who has helped me see the good in myself!!
Today I am grateful for the sunshine. It was so beautiful to sit outside and enjoy an iced tea. The weather is high 60's in AZ today and the sun made it a blissfully warm experience. I also loved that I could see the sunbeams today. So beautiful! There is so much to be grateful for. Thank you for this reminder, Kim!
In this moment, I am grateful for my clean, clutter less house. The fresh energy inspires new life in my creative bones.
I am grateful for waking up each morning to enjoy another wonderful day on this planet. I am also grateful to be surrounded by amazing family and friends.
This afternoon I am grateful for time spent with my daughter baking cookies for our Secret Pal. I am grateful for the glorious sunshine on this breezy autumn day. And...I am grateful for a filthy art studio because it means I've been creative.
My two wonderful sons and my four precious grandsons. So, so blessed. thank you for this xoxo
In this moment I am grateful for the unconditional love from family and friends. Just when I think I am at my lowest point, they are there with what ever I need; a shoulder, an ear, or just a hug. Virtual, by phone, or in person; they are always there for me. And for this I am ever grateful.
♥ I am grateful for the mild weather this November in Chicago, the yummy corn bread at lunch today, the insightful talk I had with my dear bro and grateful for u starting me on writing things down to be grateful for. ♥
Feeling grateful for fuzzy flannel sheets, down pillows, and a soft bed when I have a cold and want to stay in bed late.
My husband and wonderful family & friends!
Kim, right now I am feeling grateful for all my friends, including you!
Right now, I am grateful for my health, family, friends and the opportunity to go back to school. And most definitely my loving daughter!!
I am grateful to be living the life I was given. While most people would complain about not having a job, I believe I am fortunate enough to not have to work.
Gratitude ~ As I age, I am able to acknowledge and appreciate the progress I've made. No one, if honest, can be remotely satisfied with the choices they've made. However, with experience comes wisdom. Experience has taught me that not a whole lot really matters, what matters most is "relationships". What matters most is what impact I have in the lives of people that I come in contact with.I am grateful for this little nugget.
My sense of humor.
My legs! Got through another 26 mile bike ride today...whew!
Monopoly games with my boys and husband! Early mornings, warm coffee, quiet, safe sleepy house. Yoga Flowers Choice The human spirit peace in my heart.
...For those friends that remind us we have so much to be grateful for!
The health of my children and that my work days are relatively short!
I am grateful my partner is willing to support my need to grow spiritually, and has committed to a 6 week beginning meditation class.
I am feeling grateful for the knowledge and guiding hands that doctors had when dealing with my dad's heart issues yesterday. Fifty years ago, doctors would not have had the knowledge or technology to help my dad, but today, I am grateful and happy to report that he is well, and ready to spend many more years with our family. :)
Kim this was in my in box this morning and it just about says it all for me. Have a Bless and very JOYOUS Day! Cultivating a Thankful Heart by Steve Arterburn Be joyful always. Pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 The great English writer G. K. Chesterton once wrote, "You say grace before meals. All right. But I say grace before the concert and the opera, and grace before the play and pantomime, and grace before I open a book, and grace before sketching, painting, swimming, fencing, boxing, walking, playing, dancing, and grace before I dip the pen in the ink." Wow! What a reminder! There's no doubt in my mind that I could give thanks more often. We set aside meal time, Sunday mornings, and my favorite holiday; Thanksgiving. But, don't let an hour go by without giving thanks . . . for your work, school, kids, health, your spouse, your blessings and your challenges. When you have a God-awareness about life and when you see and sense Him in your day (in the big things and the little things), it's hard not to be thankful. "Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it." - William Arthur Ward (1921-1994)
...the amazing cool breeze shimmering over my body as I lay in my super cozy bed, half under my amazingly soft comforter while my head rests on the most welcoming pillow (aka my "Wooby")...ahhhhhhhhh:)
I'm grateful for my wonderful husband and two sons! I am also grateful for the city we live in and the home God has blessed us with.
I am grateful for the sleep to replenish my being...and the breath I took upon arising. I am grateful for the ability to have straightened out the spare room, even as it is not complete, yet. I am grateful for water to ...shower and clean in.
I am grateful for my sweet, fun, compassionate kid! And my kind and wonderful friends!
I am grateful for friends who push me to grow, and provide a safe supportive environment for me to do so.
